If you wish to support us by funding any of our projects we shall be very grateful. We need support for the
Livelihood Improvement Project for Youth.
This is one of our planned interventions for rural children and youth in Namasagali sub county. Under this project needy school going youth shall be trained in skills like vegetable growing, brick laying, tree planting, goat rearing, poultry keeping, agri-business and other profitable enterprises which they can do after school hours, on weekends and in holidays such that they can support themselves in terms of school fees and other requirements.
Informal Skills Training for Needy Children and Youth Project.
In Uganda where unemployment is a huge problem a project of this nature aimed at equipping needy children and youth with informal skills is a big step towards creating a society that is productive. Under this project, the beneficiaries shall be trained in short informal courses that suit a child/youth in a rural setting and whose skills are highly demanded. We have identified bicycle repair, soap making, carpentry and tailoring as being ideal for needy children and youth in a rural setting.
Support the Widows to put Children in School Project.
This project shall target 400 widows, 100 being got from each parish. Priority shall be given to those with a huge orphan burden. We shall provide them with training and inputs to do agri-business. We shall monitor the progress of their farming enterprises and after the harvesting and selling, we shall ensure that the revenue goes towards the education of their orphaned children.
Community Education Sustainability Project.
In the rural areas of Uganda, men have abandoned the responsibility of educating children and have left it to women. Therefore a project that empowers rural women economically indirectly promotes education. The Community Empowerment Education Sustainability Project shall target organized women groups. Women organized in groups shall be trained on how to carry out profitable income-generating projects especially in agri-business and afterward given inputs particularly seeds, banana suckers and others. Each member in a group shall save the revenue from her enterprise with the group. Once rural women have financial savings the education of children will be possible.
